Facebook and Microsoft announced they will expand their existing partnership, with Microsoft taking a $240 million equity stake in Facebook's next round of financing. Microsoft will be the sole third-party ad platform partner for Facebook.

Xbox 360 Takes Branding Online with Innovative Customizable Windows Live Messenger Identities
To boost brand awareness and user interaction for the Xbox 360 system, Xbox turned to Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions to create an interactive campaign, using customizable Windows Live Messenger identities called MeeGos. The campaign increased brand awareness and brand favorability, and captured more than 58,000 user registrations over a two-month period.
